Happy Halloween!

Here are a few pictures from the Trick-or-Treating night in Kalona last night. April brought the girls over and Levi was helping us greet all the neighborhood kids. We had a great night and got some great pictures! We have one more outfit for Halloween for Levi so look soon for pictures!

One Month Old and One year Anniversary!

This last weekend we celebrated some exciting stuff in the Fernau Household! Levi was a month old on Saturday the 23rd and Joe and I celebrated our One year anniversary on Sunday. Levi is now over 7lbs and is growing and changing so much everyday. We are so in love with him and are blessed to have him in our lives!

October Surprise!

Last weekend we got a huge surprise. Ryan and Sarah surprised us with a visit to Iowa! They planned it out with my Dad about a month or two earlier and Dad was the only one that knew they were coming. We had a great weekend and it was so fun to see them with Tori, Kenna and Levi!

First few days at home

Levi was discharged from the NICU on Wednesday September 29th and since then we have been busy with lots of different things. We have had some time to hang out with lots of family and friends. We have had several photo shoots with his cousin Kenna who is a few months older than him. They will have lots of fun together when they get older. We also took Levi for his first walk. It was great to get outside and get some fresh air. He does great in his car seat and loves riding in the stroller. We also have lots of cuddling time with Mommy and Daddy and Tucker. Tucker is doing very well with Levi being at home. He is very protective of Levi already. When Levi is sleeping in the pack-n-play in our bedroom Tucker is usually sleeping on the bed right beside the pack-n-play. When someone is holding Levi in the living room Tucker is usually sitting on the couch beside them or on the floor watching. He is a very good guard dog!
Levi also cheered on the Iowa Hawkeyes as they beat Penn State last Saturday. We couldn't find a small enough outfit for him to wear so we had to figure something else out. He loves his Hawkeye hat and someday he will fit into his Hawkeye bib (see bottom picture:)) Needless to say, we are really enjoying Levi at home and feel very blessed with our little man. He is a gift from God and to us he is perfect!
